The company was founded in 1989 by two partners who decided to make value of their knowledge and experience to offer new opportunities to the Italian steel industry. Industry that was already known to them thanks to their previous experiences as General Manager and agent of a company in the refractory industry.
From this starting point Sidertrading has developed, consolidating its position in the refractories market and being able to compete with the main market leaders both in the refractory market and in the “service market” and thus reaching its current dimensions.
Technical Assistance and Advice before and after sales. With this activity we provide all the refractory materials necessary for the production, executing directly with our employees and materials (trucks, pneumatic demolishers, mechanical shovels, gunning machines), installations and demolitions, in due respect with all the security and environmental regulations.
We can manage all the refractory materials used during the entire production cycle. In close co-operation with the technicians of the steel plant we decide the best materials to be selected in the production cycle and guarantee the most competitive material costs (€/Ton of steel).
Similar service provided in the “Global Service” solution, but limited to some production areas like casting ladle and/or tundishes. We supply also all sliding gate systems with complete management of plates, guaranteeing specific contractual costs (€/Ton of steel).
